Akimitsu☀

Numerous day’s had gone by since the Chunin genjutsu simulation had ended, These days had the woman spend doing many different things, first of she had just gone to sleep. Sleeping it all off her and the nausea caused from the immense amount of time they had been trapped in the illusion.
It had been a drag, losing. Unfortunately there was nothing that could be done about it for now.

The promise she had made to Utaro had she not forgotten, she would become stronger and make a come back together with the Uranami.

Speaking about him, today was the day of the Chuning fights and Akimitsu was getting ready to keep up her  end of the promise she had made. To accompany the Uranami family as they went to watch the fights. Had it been such a good idea to make such a promise though? What if they expected her family to be accompany her…. she had not made such a promise but what if they did? They had met each other before after all. If it came down to it, she would apologize for their absence, their might be a little chance her grandmother would be there. Making bets…. ah she certainly wouldn’t want to miss out on such an event and  rob as many people as possible of their money.

Having left her home was the excitement lingering through the village high, people were talking, all heading towards the stadium. Heck you could even see entire households pull out together to go cheer on their clan members.

The walk was relaxing, the sun shining, occasionally hiding behind the sun as it might just be one of the very last days of nice sunny weather before the winter would set in. Not something she was looking forward to in all honesty.

As agreed on would Akimitsu wait nearby the entrance of the stadium, leaning against a tree as she was braiding a lock of her hair to pass the time.

Utaro🦈

Past couple of days were pretty much the same for Utaro. He’d stay closed in his room, or went out to the shore, avoiding his father as much as he could. Truth to be said, his father pretty much avoided him too... And that was unusual as he’d use first second he got to spill whatever was on his mind on Utaro’s face. It kind of made Utaro worried? But he let it be... who cares... at least he didn’t have to listen to his crap.

As the day of the semi finals arrived Uranami family would be getting ready to go and watch the fights. Harusaki was there after all and, more than anyone, Utaro wanted to cheer for her. Nejime was pretty happy to go and watch the fights with her best friend Harumi – Harusaki’s little sister. Who knows what those little demons are planning on doing. Poor Harusaki having those two ’cheer’ for her.

It took awhile before four Uranami arrived to the village. It was quite a long walk after all. Approaching the stadium Utaro would jog up to greet Akimitsu as he spotted her before his family members.
„Good day, Akimitsu-san.“ He bowed politely. It didn’t take long before furious Nejime appeared between the two judgingly staring at Akimitsu. Ah... and there we go...

Kanade would cheerfully approach the kids smiling ear to ear as she saw Akimitsu. „Long time no see Akimitsu-chan. I’m so happy to have you join us today.“ The woman said as she took Akimitsu’s hands in hers, bowing to her. „Thank you for taking care of my son...“
It wasn’t quite taking care of each other, more like fighting together but... Utaro let that pass smiling awkwardly.
„Utaro told me you fought amazingly.“ Kanade said.

Yasuro would just listen to them. He could’ve been watching both of their fights and even hear the proctors and judges that the fight was good but that still won’t be enough for him to pass by his judgements and admit he’s wrong about Utaro being weak. In his eyes he’ll probably always stay weak. Why? Utaro never understood it, and as he grew, he eventually stopped caring.

„We should get inside... Good day, Sugimoto.“ Yasuro eventually said, holding in his thoughts as he didn’t want to offend the girl. He wasn’t rude to everyone, honestly. He believed that  his attitude will eventually wake Utaro up and that he’ll change... Shame that he was actually wrong to the core.

Akimitsu☀

She hadn’t been waiting all that long till the family of 4 appeared, Utaro taking off towards her, of course that brat right behind him. She ignored Nejime, not worth her time to deal with a girl love struck towards her older brother. She pushed herself off the wall, nodding slightly to him.

There his mother came, always so kind ‘’Good day lady Kanade.’’ Akimitsu spoke as the woman took her hands. ‘’Utaro fought very brave.’’ she added after his mother's words, they should hear him being praised.
However Yasuro his displeased attitude could she sense from miles away…. he irritated her. Needed to be beaten some sense into that thick skull of his. But she would let it slide for now. Parents could be so dense at times.
‘’Good day’’ She repeated herself again as she stood besides Utaro, following after the family into the arena.

The arena was packed with people, excited and lively, clans and friends hogged together as they eagerly waited for the matches to start. Akimitsu would sit down besides Utaro again, ignoring Nejime her angry glares. Ah who would they be cheering for…. who was she kidding of course for their clans men… however she couldn’t particular say she knew anybody who was participating.

Utaro🦈

They would take their seats waiting for the matches to start. Kanade didn’t particularly enjoy watching people fight each other, but she came here mostly because of Utaro as he wanted them to come and cheer for Harusaki. Nejime on the other side just wanted to make sure no one is too close to her brother and also spend some time with her best friend Harumi. Hopefully for Utaro, Harumi will arrive soon.

“Akimitsu-san, do you know who is having the first fight?“ Utaro asked. He wasn’t sure if he was more excited to see Jinta’s or Harusaki’s match. But unfortunately he won’t be able to cheer for Jinta so vociferous or it would be suspicious.

Akimitsu☀

Blood red eyes were locked on the arena, casually ignoring Nejime as the little  girl was shielding Utaro from outside harm.  Breaking her gaze would she turn her head slightly to look at the Uranami. Ponder for a slight moment. ‘’ I think the Kitsune and Hibiki? Not quite sure.’’ she replied with a faint shrug, not roothing in particular for anybody but she did wish to see them fight. ‘’Who you rooting for huh, besides the Uranami of course’’ she asked while propping a hand under her chin. ‘’ I would like to see that kitsune girl fight, she wasn’t half bad when we fought her.’’  Aki spoke.

Utaro🦈

Ahh. The question he didn’t quite want to answer. “Well, amm… Hibiki Jinta is a good friend of mine. I also met Hibiki Hinoiri-san… So I guess I’ll be rooting for them… If they don’t end up fighting against Harusaki-nee-chan.” He giggled. “But honestly I’m also curious at how Kagura will do.” He said as he fixed his eyes on the arena.

Akimitsu☀

Hibiki’s huh, she wasn’t particular fond of them, especially after that one encounter where she had almost broke on of these clanswomen her hand. ‘’Let’s root for your friend then also huh.’’ She replied, not letting her own personal dislikes getting in the way of Utaro his joy. Besides cheering somebody on was quite fun. Akimitsu leaned back, propping her hands behind her. ‘’Next time it will be us Utaro, I promise you that.’’ ay, no matter waht, next time was she going to powerhouse them through it.

Utaro🦈

Utaro smiled warmly, opened his mouth to say something but then Akimitsu’s reaction stopped him. It will be them she said. His warm smile turned into a determined one as he clenched his fist up in the air. “Of course if will be us!” He said cheerfully but not long after did he hear his father’s sound of disapproval that sounded a bit like an attempt to laugh.
“Maybe if you train harder instead of going to that stupid theatre...” He commented. “Nejime will get promoted faster than you at this rate.”
Utaro’s brow twitched but he didn’t comment, instead he just turned to the arena looking at the two people that just entered, and were preparing to fight.
Kanade also decided to be quiet and let it pass, while Nejime on the other hand was too much of a coward to speak her mind to her father.

Akimitsu☀

the woman glanced to the side, hearing the elder make a disapproving sound, it irritated her, this man his attitude but none of his family seemed to be standing up to him. For now she  considered it was not her place to do so either. His comment pissed her off even more, a couple of words slipping her mouth ‘’If you had checked the scores then you would have noticed Utaro was top scoring, even higher scored  than some of those getting to continue on right now. Even made a Kitsune run from him, it’s pure bad luck that we didn’t get a scroll.’’ Akimitsu bit out, heck if none of them did anything about the elde than she would do it… even if she did consider it better to keep her mouth shut, oh well impuls sometimes took the best of her.

Utaro🦈

Utaro just smiled to Aki as he closed his eye shaking his head just a little as if he wanted to say ‘Just let it be. I don’t care about his comments’. He would then point at the arena. “Seems like the fight is about to start.”
In his mind he wished good luck to the Hibiki. “This will sure be an interesting fight. Let’s watch closely, that way we can maybe get some tips for the next time we’re in the exam.” Another bright determined smile flashed on Utaro’s face.

Akimitsu☀
A quite ‘’mmhh’’  would Akimitsu let out, leaning forward a she propped her elbows on her knees, resting her head on one hand. She would watch the fights with Utaro, commenting from time to time on things, or chatter if Utaro was trying to have small talk with her. One by one the fights would keep on going, people losing and winning as in the end only one claimed champion. It were good matches.

The fight’s each were interesting in their own way to watch, getting to spectate what everybody was capable of doing. Watching their skills but also their weak points. One by one did they come closer to the final fight, leaving only one as champion. The crowd went mad, cheering for Hibiki Hiniori as she had become champion.
