Contrecoeur: Yui's Contrecoeur usually begins effecting her when she is starting to reach her limit, the first signs surfacing in the form of headaches and nausea. However, if she continues to push her limits, her symptoms become more severe and can eventually lead to her throwing up and/or losing consciousness completely. [unknown time limit].

Limiter/Inhibitor: 
Choker - Worn at all times due to Yui having a weak control of her Coeur, her Limiter was given to her as a child when she enrolled in Shinnou Academy, then aged 4. It's main purpose is to prevent Yui from losing control of her Coeur, stopping it from spiralling beyond her limits. This prevents her from suffering her Contrecoeur and also ensures the safety of both herself and those around her until she can learn to control it better, and not allow it to be influenced by strong emotions which may make her control at it's worst.

At first glance, Yui comes across as a chatty and outgoing person, easy to make contact with other people and interact, as she is not shy and will always try to look on the bright side. She is optimistic, but also a compassionate person, and one who will readily show concern towards others.

However, clumsy is Yui's middle name, so do not be surprised if she somehow manages to fall over her own feet if she isn’t being careful or watching where she is going. Despite this though, that does not meant that Yui relies on others in order to get things done. Whilst being a bright personality, Yui is also what you might call secretive, preferring to keep her personal life to herself, also making her quite a private person.

Yui is also stubborn as a donkey and, once she sets her mind to something, it can be incredibly hard to make her change her mind. Whilst she is talkative, her words often also come without a filter, and she can be very blunt, often stating things as they are, without thinking things over. This kind of attitude can greatly impact on her actions, causing her to seem and act somewhat impulsively. She is very much a girl that follows the routine of 'Act first, think second', for better or worse of the trouble it may cause her.
   

Biography

There was no shortage of expectation in the Hanae family, a bloodline of Coeur Users. An only child to one of its members and his wife; an upper class businessman, CEO of the Hanae Tech company, a type of business entity that focuses primarily on the development and manufacturing of technology. Yui was born and raised in Kyoto. It was unsurprising to her parents when, just days after her birth, Yui began to show signs of her own Coeur, the start of her power that would confirm she was due to follow in their footsteps.

Possessing a lot of power at even such a young age, it became apparent that whenever toddler Yui felt or experienced bursts of intense emotion, whether that was laughing or crying, she would be a handful. Objects would float around the room as if to display her feelings in open view. It was obvious from the beginning that control was something which the child would struggle with, and that this was only the start.

As such, by the time she was four, it had been arranged for Yui to move to Kokoro Island, and enroll in Shinnou Academy, starting her schooling in the best place possible that would give her her best chance to work with her gift. She was given her Limiter and things seemed like they were improving. She no longer lost control so easily, and before long Yui was making friends and having a good time. Things were looking up, and Yui's outgoing personality and talkative nature meant she socialised well, and she was able to enjoy a childhood full of fun. Sadly, however, it could be said that Yui's grades were a different story, and unlike her bubbly demeanor, her studies left something to be desired, only ever earning her an average or below-average score no matter how hard she tried. Yui didn't excel in class, and her abrupt and energetic nature meant she became more prone to rash action, and thus she became a regular on more than one occasion to attending detention. It could be said she became somewhat of a delinquent when it came to her subjects, and rebelliousness wasn't exactly strange.

Still, Yui kept this side of her school life quiet, especially to her proud parents, given she didn't wish to disappoint them. Even when she went away and travelled back home, leaving at every vacation and chance she could, her struggles were still something she kept to herself. Yui much preferred to enjoy spending time with her family when she could, and holding hopes that in the future things would improve. Due to that, Yui still strives to graduate successfully, even to the current day. Yui hopes that one day she will have that control over her Coeur she aims for. To that goal and end, she has set herself a goal, and that is, for each time she fails or is set back, she will come back arounds stronger, and try all the more harder the next time. Even with her difficulties, Yui refuses to give up.

Trivia:

• Still has a hard time directing things when using her Coeur, so could still use a lot of practice. Things don't often go as she wants them to, regardless of how much she tries, so for now her control is a little weaker than most, but she is working to improve it.
  

• Good grades? What are those? Yui tries hard but half the time none of it seems to stick inside her head. She often takes extra classes and tutoring for subjects to help but...usually there isn't much improvement.

• Carries her headphones and music player with her at all times.

• As only child is Yui next in line to take over her fathers tech company, however she isn't exactly living up to her parents expitations. Neither is it something Yui publicly shares, if anything she tries to completely denie her family's wealth.
